ENTRY FEE:  $180.00 The fee includes three days of competition.  

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. Applicants must have a USGA handicap index of 25.0 or lower as of the day they register for the event.
  2. Any amateur woman who wishes to compete in the NHWGA Amateur Championship must be a resident of the state of New Hampshire and be a member in good standing of the NHWGA as of the closing date of tournament entries.
  3. Any amateur woman residing outside the state of New  Hampshire shall be eligible to compete in the NHWGA Amateur Championship provided she is a member in good standing of the NHWGA as of the closing date of tournament entries and that she has been a member in good standing of an NHWGA member club for the preceding three years.

 

FIELD: 102 low handicaps.

FORMAT:  54-hole stroke play.  All players will compete from the same set of tees on day one (Red tees). Based on scores, players will then be put into flights.  The Championship flight will play the final two rounds from a distance befitting a State Championship approximately 5600 yards (White Tees).   Lower flights will play the final two rounds from the Red Tees  approximately 4,800 yards. 

 

 

AWARDS:  Gross prizes will be awarded in each flight. A tie for first gross in the Championship Flight will be resolved by a playoff.  All other ties will be broken using the USGA-recommended system (last day, last nine, last six, last three, etc.).

 

RESTRICTIONS: Parents or guardians are not allowed to caddy for or coach juniors. Competing student athletes should check with their schools’ and the NHIAA or NCAA policies regarding eligibility and prize acceptance.

No card – elimination from the tournament.

 

PRACTICE ROUND:  Practice rounds can be played, the price for the round and the cart TBD. Please call the pro shop at 603-524-1274 to make a weekday tee time. 

CADDIES:  Caddies may play a practice round at the same cost as the players.

CART FEE: The cart fee for the tournament is TBD per person.  Caddies must pay the cart fee if they ride with a competitor. NOTE: Only two carts per threesome will be allowed.
